Episode One~

Walking into the arena and seeing all the competitors from the various Horror Movies surrounding me was a bit intimidating. This is the 11th season of the series and my first time playing. I see people who seem eager to get this thing started and I hope that I can compete with the best of them out here.

All of us approached the Slender Man and he informed us that we had been divided into three tribes. I was particularly curious as to how the tribes were determined since we weren't told and of course we all have been wondering with 15 people here who else will be joining us. 15 is a weird number to start off the game so there has to be more people coming to play right?

So all of a sudden 3 figures emerge from the darkness and its 3 former winners in the series. So were playing against some big competition already. lol. I mean these aren't just any players these people have won so its kinda intimidating knowing that one of them is going to be on your tribe!

I'm on the Hunger Games tribe with Katniss. She won her season and I'm interested to see what she's like and what kinda role she'll play on our tribe. Will people try to get on her good side because they feel she could have power starting off or will she be an easy first boot should we lose?

At this point my strategy is really just to get to know my tribe members the best I can. I certainly don't want to leave early and I think making strong relationships from the start is key to longevity in this game. So hopefully my tribe sees me as likable and valuable right form the start!

So Katniss just happens to be someone that I have known for years. lol. We have certainly lost touch in the last couple of years, but its good to be reunited. It was also nice knowing that she chose me first to be on this tribe and also know that the tribes were determined by the Veterans. So that certainly explains how we all were divided up!

I think that Katniss is someone that I of course would want to remain close too. They're several reasons for this!

First, I know that I can trust her. Katniss and I have been friends and allies in the past. She has shown loyalty and dedication. I see no reason why she wouldn't be that same way now.

Second, with Katniss being a Veteran she does have a bit of influence at the beginning of this game. The longer she stays the more important people see her to their survival in the game.

Third, if for whatever reason our tribe was targeted Katniss would easily be the first target. People would want to take her down before anyone else and so if things started to crumble it would buy me some time to think a new plan up.

So I think that Katniss and I will probably align in this game or at least share information with each other. I'm glad she chose me and I'm glad that I feel like I'm starting this game on the right foot.

I don't trust Marlena one bit. lol. I have played with Marlena before and if there is one thing I know she is drama, drama, and more drama. lol. This girl would lie about anything and everything to get ahead in the game and having her on my tribe makes me a little bit uneasy. We have aligned before and we have also been against each other. I think our relationship is complicated, but I know she's not someone I would want to invest trust in. I just think she will probably play a dirty game to get ahead and that's not something I'm interested in doing here. So I definitely have my eye on her and hopefully she isn't as dramatic here as she has been in the past.

I think first impressions are pretty important in the game. Mitch didn't really give a great first impression. He kinda seemed to just not really care about getting to know me or working on the challenge. So it did rub me the wrong way a bit and maybe made me think he might feel comfortable on this tribe already. Something makes me feel like he's playing before or has a couple friends on this tribe. So I'm hoping our second conversation goes a lot better cause our first conversation left little to be desired.

Heading into the challenge I knew that I wanted to do what I could to prevent our tribe heading to Tribal Council. Losing the first challenge is never a good thing! The first challenge tends to create the morale of the tribe and its hard to get off a loss. So I was going into it hoping we would win!

Our challenge was to solve a series of passwords that would lead us into a new arena. When we solved the code we would then have to solve the final puzzle which was the name of a Horror Movie. The two tribes to do this the fastest would win Immunity.

Immediately I began working on the first area which was the name of a former Survivor player. My strategy was to start off in the middle seasons and make my way to the newest seasons. I ended up figuring out the password which was Misty Giles one of my favorite Survivors! Once I got into the arena I was met with a puzzle that I had to put together. It took me sometime, but I got it solved and moved onto the next area.

I ended up figuring out the Horror Movie fairly fast with The Possession being in theaters right now! So our tribe was the first to finish as we got 5 of our tribe members to cross the finishing line. I think I was a huge part of our win which was both a good thing in terms of showing my tribe that I'm someone they should keep around cause I can do well in the competitions. On the other hand I kinda exposed myself to be a bit of a threat. I certainly don't want the other tribes thinking I'm the person they should target. So I think I went all out when I should have maybe held back a bit.

We won though and I'm glad we won't be heading to Tribal Council. Hopefully this win will turn into a streak and we won't vote anyone off for a long time.
