The girl on fire is back!
In all honesty, I almost did not come back. I wanted to retire on a high note. With a schedule full of graduate school and a new job, I did not think that I had it in me for one more go. But, I decided what the heck.
So here I am, back and in kind of an all star role. I am certain that my path this time will not be nearly as easy as it was last time as in the last game I was dealing with mostly inactives, and that made winning challenges a bit easier, not so this time.
I got to pick my tribe, and I think that I did a fairly decent job. I picked Anne first because she and I go way back and I know what kind of player she is, and I was not let down after she single handedly won that first challenge for us. At the same time, I also know how dangerous she is, and I will not hesitate to cut her lose if the time comes. I may offer her an alliance just to keep her on my good side, but I have no intention of honoring it or letting her get too far.
Marlena is a different story. She and I kind of clicked right off and I have made a deal with her. I am already kind of regretting it as she cannot seem to keep her mouth shut and that may get her, and me in a lot of trouble. I found out that Cinna is Kai, so I am going to try and work an alliance with the three of us,and I can always choose who I really want to work with out of those two when the time comes. Of course, it could be someone else entirely, time will tell.
I have tried talking to Mitch, but it seems that I picked him last for a reason. He is very closed off and cold. I get one to two word responses from him if I get anything at all. He is someone that I will def have to keep my eye on. Amber and Kale have not been on so I have not had a chance to talk to them at all, but I am going to keep my options open as far as they go, at least for now.
All in all, I am glad that I came back. I was afraid at first that I would have a target on me since I am a winner and a returner, but I think that there are other more important targets out there, and that will buy me time to work some magic. That, and the HII does not hurt!
