It's been a long, wild ride and I am very happy to have been a part of it. first of all, let me congratulate the woman sitting beside me. Hannah, we did it. That first conversation that we had in round five or so has taken us to the end, and I am honored to be sitting here next to you.
To the jury, I am happy to have played with you all, and gotten to know most of you. Some of you may be upset with the way I played, and I am sorry about that. I hope to be able to address any questions or concerns that you may have about me or my game play.
When Slender asked me to play this season, I almost turned him down. I was fresh off of winning season ten and was considering retiring from ORG on a high note. Besides that, I had just started my first semester of graduate school in sociology, and if you think that grad school in itself is tough, add sociology to the mix and it's no joke. I am not trying to whine or complain, just trying to paint a picture of where I was at the time. In the end however, I decided what the hell, and agreed to play.
When we were picking tribes, I only had two things to go on....aim screen names and activity on the board. I recognized Ann right away as someone I had played with in the past A LOT, so I was happy she was available when it came time for my pick in the first round. She was my first pick, but Marlena was my second since I saw that she was fairly active on the board, and besides, she has a kick ass sig. I wanted that kind of personality on my tribe.
My gut instinct proved correct in the first couple of rounds as the HG tribe did really well. During the first couple of rounds, I made a solid alliance with Ann since I knew how she played, and I knew that she would be a good person to have on my side and not against me. I also struck a deal with Marlena and Cinna. Cinna worried me. I knew him from season ten, and to be honest, I never completely trusted him. But, I wanted to be on his good side just in case I needed him later in the game.
When Ann was voted out the first time, it was about this time that Hannah and I really started to talk serious alliance. We had been talking via PM for a few rounds, and even though I had been told not to trust her, and that she was bad news, my gut told me otherwise, and I decided to go with it, and I am glad that I did. She has been nothing but loyal to me, and I am happy to see that my trust paid off.
The round that Ann left for the first time was a crucial time of the game for me. I had two HII...having won the first one for coming in first in the first challenge and getting the second one in a box. My plan was to tell people I had one, but keep the other one hidden up my sleeve. I sadly wasted one the round Ann left, having been fooled by Mitch....who I was targeting since he flat out told me that he was gunning for me for being a winner. So when Ann went to another tribe, it worried me a bit since she alone knew I had two...me having told her, and only her. That was when I knew I had to form a more solid alliance, one that would serve me long term. I had started to get an iffy feeling about Kat (sorry Kat) and I was not totally sure how much I could rely on her long term. So I had to cast my net out further.
So that is when Hannah and I really got together. I had been toying with the idea of a winners alliance for a few rounds. We knew that we were targets for being winners, and it just made sense for us to bond together for protection. The plan came together slowly over a few rounds, and really did not get serious until the later rounds. Though while this was happening, I had decided that I wanted Hannah, and only Hannah to go with me to the end.
The one round I really thought that I was in trouble was a round or two after Ray left. I was campaigning to get out Claire, who at the time, I was very friendly with. I had no problem with her, I still don't, but I saw her as a tough player who if she went further, would cause some major problems, which proved to be true. In any case, this was during the TC at round eleven. My efforts to get Claire out were not being listened to and instead I voted Marlena. When ThAT turned into a tie, I had to vote out Ray. The next round is when the shit hit the fan. Ray, being Ray, decided to go against TC rules and tradition and make public a PM that I had sent him a round or two before basically showing everyone that I was in on trying to vote out Claire. I admit that my mistake was telling him that was the vote. He ran and told Alice who of course used the idol to protect Claire, but by him making that PM public, it screwed any relationship I had with Claire.
I tried to salvage something, playing to poor me card to Claire to try and keep on her good side, but I really knew that that bridge had been burned. From that point on, I distanced myself from Claire and worked even harder to get her out. She still tried to get me to vote in other ways to try get me to vote other ways, which I kind of admire in a way, but at the same time, she still voted me each round, and I knew for a fact that she was gunning for me while trying to assure me that things were fine when they were in fact not. If it had stayed a final three, I have no doubt that she would have beaten me.
I came into this game with a plan to make a solid deal and take it to the final two, the same thing I did last game. While at the same time, lay low and not attract too much attention since I already had the winners target on my back. I think it worked out just fine, and like I said, I am happy to be sitting here next to Hannah.
I may not have been able to devote as much time to challenges as I would have liked due to school and work commitments, but I was still active in this game, it just may not have shown as much. I was loyal to my main alliance of Hannah and to a lesser extent, Billie and I put forth all the effort I could into this game, and I hope you will keep that in mind when you cast your vote. I look forward to addressing your questions and statements, and wish you the best of luck in your decision.

First of all, congratulations Katniss for making it to the end with me, I like how the more the game progressed, the less we had doubts about each other and we had the perfect partnership.
So now that the power shifts to the jury, it is my turn to be the one tortured by the importance of your vote. Tonight, you should base your decision on who deserves to win the most. I believe that I played a stronger social game than Katniss did. The way I play this game is simple... I never mind being painted as the big threat, because if people trust you, or feel the need to keep you around, they won't write your name down regardless.
I begun this game in a shitty tribe. It felt like ghost town because there was no social interaction. I only bonded with Arthur and at the time, I thought I could trust Curt too as a third. I later bonded with Beth during one of the challenges. I think that's what kept me safe while I was over there. There wasn't even any established alliances before the merge with them from what I can record. I really thought having a shitty tribe would ruin my game at the merge, and that's why I decided to talk to at least one person from each tribe that I would chose carefully. Claire was already talking to me from Horror Story, and I picked Katniss from Hunger Games. That's why in the first challenge, rather than act like a coward like other tribes did and pick an inactive to go to the islands, I picked Katniss to go before I even got to talk to her. I think that's what helped me getting a good reading of the game, what alliances there were and in what tribes, etc. After Katniss became on the outs of her tribe, she revealed to me she had a second idol in her pocket, and that's how I knew I could trust her. We then became a F2. But until we merge, our trust wasn't put to the test.
Then that's when we merged after teaming up with Horror Story & Katniss to get rid of the Core Alliance of Hunger Games. I think I made my first good move when I campaigned against Curt and let Marlena survive. I was already getting closer to Marlena, while Curt had turned his back against me. The reason I wanted to make it happen as early as possible was because at that moment, nobody really cared keeping him around or not, and being three tribes, I knew it would be a matter of time before the bloody battles begin, where he could be used against me and could sneak very far in the game while tribes fire at each other. Had he stayed, it could of gone all differently.
The round after, me and Katniss decided it was time to pull our first sword against Claire. The plan had been set in motion and we knew that Claire was making deals everywhere. I had self-handedly thrown under the bus all the deals she had to everyone I trusted, and that's how we started gathering votes. On my part, I told the plan to the right people. But then Katniss told the wrong people about it. I had a feeling what she was doing a very bad idea, but because I didn't try to stop her from doing that, I'm just as responsible I guess. I was gone to work and so I was powerless to any last minute move. And of course it had to happen. The information had went into Alice's ear and she decided to play an idol on her. When I came back from work and that votes weren't posted yet, I had a message from Billie. It was a warning about Claire playing that thing and that apparently, they had thought about possibly voting me but that she changed it for someone else. That was probably my most shocking tribal council when I saw Ray getting blindsided. It was a blindside to me, but not a bad one, it was a good blindside. When Claire asked me if I voted for her, I said yes. And when she asked Katniss, she denied it. She pulled the lying card and I think that Claire seeing right through it was one of the factors that made her dislike Katniss over me.
Before the blindside, we randomly talked about winners possibly sticking together and how it would be cool and funny, but nothing serious for me, until Billie Dean made her proofs by throwing their plan under the bus. That's how the winners alliance formed itself I would say, there wasn't really a "specific beginning". We were very disfunctional, we came from three different tribes, we had different deals, and we were far from being any kind of numbers. While we were protecting each other's back, we were firing at each other's side deals to make sure we would be safe if things were to go wrong.
I think one of my best move in the game was to get rid of Alice. At the time, "no one but me" wanted to vote her out. Not even Katniss, everytime I was bringing up Alice's name up, she was turning me down with that idea. I felt like that was very fishy and was wondering if something else could be going on. Most wanted Katniss, and Billie wanted Arthur. I didn't want either to go, and that's when Claire brought up about blindsiding Katniss that I had my light bulb. I convinced Sorority Row to make the vote 3-3-2 against Alice, where Katniss would find out at the re-vote that she was being stabbed by Alice and Claire. She re-voted against Alice, and Billie didn't want to go rocks, so Alice went home 4-2 in the re-vote. I knew from that moment I had Katniss neutralized. Had she decided to struck new deals those wouldn't really have worked, I think at that point only me and Billie were willing to keep her for a long time.
Then the round after, I knew they would target Arthur. So I told him to play the idol that I had not told anyone about. I had it in my pocket during the last tribal, and I gave it back to him so he would play it. But of course, he goes silly: doesn't play it and vote against Katniss and evicts himself. That really frustrated me. But whatever, I had new things to my agenda.
I think it is the day that Arthur left the winners really became a numbers that worked together rather than firing at each other's allies. So we worked together to get Anne and Beth out back to back. Claire won the final five and four immunities, that was annoying because it broke our F3 we were supposed to have, but I voted against Billie because I had my F2 with Katniss way before the Winners Alliance. Same can be said about the last vote.
I think we could resume my agenda to a very simple pyramid of loyalty: First you have my F2 with Katniss, then my F3 with the Winners, then Sorority Row, then my Side Deals and then "the others".
I should win above Katniss because I had more cards than she did in this game. She had the targets because of her own gameplay and actions. I have known how to keep my links with people intact and that is why not a single vote has been casted against me all game long.
And not just because I'm sitting against her, I just believe I played the ultimate social and strategic game. I had everyone outwited, outplayed in three individual immunities plus a fair amount of tribal challenges that I had to do just by myself and for those reasons, I should outlast Katniss and become the Sole Survivor for the second time.
Ask me whatever you need to know, It's your last time to gather the information that you're burning to know about. I hope you respected my game and that you do the bright and generous decision to vote for me. Good Luck Katniss!
